Providing multi-sector leadership experience, Jesse Wolff collaborates with people and organizations to achieve high
value social impact in their communities.
Jesse has diverse, award-winning experience in nonprofit CEO roles (3x), early-stage seed and impact investing, digital health technology, real estate, startup coaching, human services, corporate finance, alternative asset fund management, teaching, and community health. Proven record of complex strategy execution, building empowering organization culture, significant revenue growth, business and investment acumen, and measurable social impact.
Currently, he is consulting on monetization strategies with Switch Energy Alliance (providing energy education to science
students), a member of Northern Michigan Angels, a business coach with the 2021 XLerate Health accelerator program
and serves on the Michigan Rise III Fund’s investment advisory committee.
From 2018 – 2020, Jesse developed HealthSpark, a 20Fathoms initiative to grow a health tech ecosystem in the Grand Traverse region as well as Accelerate Health for the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation, an initiative to
increase rural access to integrated health care for families via technology and transportation.
Preceding, Jesse launched a $20m impact investment fund for the $2.6bn Colorado Health Foundation, where he had
a successful track record of health-focused impact investments including myStrength – a digital behavioral health company acquired for $33.5m by Livongo (with a 2019 IPO for $3.4bn). He led CHF’s innovative participation in the
early growth of Colorado’s digital health tech ecosystem including creating an annual $150k health innovation prize; investing in Catalyst HTI, a 180K SF vertical health innovation campus in Denver; and as a lead investor in an $8.4m social impact bond with the City of Denver.
Additionally, Jesse served as the CEO of three award-winning Colorado nonprofits, including Goodwill Industries, a
$67m per annum social enterprise with over 1,400 employees and 21,000 participants annually in its youth and adult
education, career readiness, and employment programs.
Earlier in his career, Jesse was a limited partner with Northfield Capital Fund, an alternative assets management firm with an average of $130m AUM and 10% annual return over his tenure. He was responsible for the R&D and
implementation of all quantitative trading models.
Jesse has served as a director on numerous community boards and advisory committees, including Governor and Mayoral appointments. Current volunteer positions include the Grand Traverse Economic Development Corporation, Traverse City SCORE, and the XLerate Health Tech startup accelerator.
An invited speaker for impact investing and nonprofit sector events, Jesse was also an adjunct professor teaching Social
Entrepreneurship with the University of Colorado’s MBA program.
He earned a BA in International Business from Eckerd College and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. He is also a Livingston Fellow with Bonfils-Stanton Foundation in Denver.
