Reframing Climate: Liv Rollinger to Speak at Next ‘Everyone A Changemaker Northern Michigan’ Workshop

We’re excited to have Liv Rollinger speak at our next ‘Everyone A Changemaker Northern Michigan‘ workshop on reframing climate.

Liv graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s from the Program in the Environment, specializing in Sustainable Food Systems and Environmental Outreach.

As Groundwork Center’s Climate and Clean Energy Specialist, she oversees the coordination of the Access MI Solar group-buy program, formerly called Grow Solar Little Traverse, which aims to increase affordable access to solar and advance clean energy education.

She also collaborates with schools and teachers to bring solar energy lessons into classrooms and supports student activists working towards clean energy goals in their school districts.

Additionally, she works with local policymakers to incorporate renewable energy into Master Plans and Zoning Ordinances in Northern Michigan communities.

Liv brings a wealth of climate and clean energy expertise to our team, along with direct facilitation experience from her FoodCorps service with Groundwork Center, her work as a Nature Educator with the Grand Traverse Conservation District, and her service as Extended Day Director at the Pathfinder School.

Liv’s Reframing Climate workshop is Thursday, October 13th 11-12p at NMC’s Innovation Center.

All advocates, concerned citizens, and changemakers in Northern Michigan are welcome.

Attendance is free thanks to Rotary Charities of Traverse City and the United Way of Northwest Michigan but registration is required as space is limited.
